Description

Oberon Performance clutch slave cylinder has proven to be the most reliable slave cylinder on the market. It is our highest rated slave cylinder. Designed to improve the performance and looks of the original Ducati cylinder. Substantially reducing the heaviness of the original clutch action, aching arms and clunky gear changes are a thing of the past. The internal piston design, seals and breather hole have been drastically enhanced to stop leaks and leave a smoother clutch action. CNC machined from billet for lightness, strength and precision looks. The 29mm piston size is much easier to find neutral while still having an easy clutch pull. Everything you need is included in the kit plus a conversion shaft for earlier Ducati's.

UPDATE: Oberon has updated the slave cylinders to work with the newer 2011/2012+ Ducati that have a pin to stop the clutch rod from spinning. You won't need to remove the pin, there is now a recess built into the Oberon slave cylinder.

  • Smoother transition resulting in lighter clutch action
  • Available in six anodized colors
  • Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver and Titanium
  • CNC machined from billet aluminum
  • Repositioned breather hole away from chain and sprocket grime

Add MOTUL RBF600 Racing Brake Fluid 0.5 liter as an option when purchasing this Oberon Slave Cylinder for only $16.00 ($20.00 value).

Check the documents tab for a slave cylinder comparison.

To insure longevity of your slave cylinder seals, start with a new throw out bearing and change your throw out bearing whenever you swap out clutch plates. Seized throw-out bearings is the number one cause of slave cylinder seal failure.

Comments:
I replaced my old Evoluzione Clutch Slave cylinder with the OBERON Clutch Slave cylinder on my 02 998. The quality of the part is very nice. It installed with no hassles and reduced the the clutch lever pull effort. I have NO issues with clutch drag or finding neutral after the install. I would buy this product again.

I have a 2012 Streetfighter 848 and I had some troubles installing this. I sent an email and explained what was happening. After they called Ducati to see if this was going to work on my bike they then told me how to install this and every thing worked out well for me. What an improvement, and what customer service.

Easy to install and works great

Comments:
I needed to use the "pre-2000" extension rod despite having a 2000 M750. Without it, the piston would bottom out and the clutch would seize up. Works great afterwards though, and overall still a breeze to install. The lever pull is pretty noticeable. Also, the anodized red is a deeper red than the Ducati red, but it looks great either way.
