Instead of a pricey updated replacement sending unit, Corse Dynamics offers the nut separately, this nut will seal without the possibility of leaking for years of care free riding without concern of a single drip of fuel.

In order to install the new nut, the electronic plug must be disassembled! In order to remove the factory nut and install the replacement billet one, check the documents tab for step by step instructions.

Please note:

Ducati in the past had used some of the older leftover parts from earlier series bikes on the later models. Therefore you may encounter this problem with replacing your worn plastic nut.

We can not possibly provide the exact size for your bike, solely based on the model year info you are providing. The main difference is the thread-pitch between the two versions. The best possible way is for you to have the thread-pitch of the plastic one measured prior to having your order placed.

The other option would be to have both versions purchased and then to return the one that you don't need.
