REAR SETS

SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2016 and up Ducati Monster 1200 R is a thoroughly track-engineered design, with all parts precision CNC-machined out of high strength anodized billet aluminum, and securely fastened together with stainless steel bolts. Modular adjustable design provides 4 unique Foot Peg positions, so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. This premium Rear Sets kit includes a set of heavy-duty black anodized billet aluminum mounting plates to replace the stock pivot cover hardware. Choice of all Black anodized finish, or vivid Gold anodized finish with contrasting Black mounting plates.


Sato Racing Foot Pegs have a finely knurled pattern with excellent grip characteristics, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. The Foot Peg position can be adjusted horizontally 2 ways on the Step Plate. Additionally, the Step Plate position can also be adjusted diagonally where it attaches to the Base Plate, for a total of 4 positions.


The shift and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever action. For optimal control and leverage, the mounting points for the pedals are on a separate axis from the foot pegs.


This sets provides a dedicated stock shifting pattern. (Reverse / GP shift pattern is not an option for this model). NOTE: This set is not compatible with quick shifters that are designed to be used with the stock Ducati shift lever.


These Rear Sets are designed to use the OEM shift arm / rod ends (as seen in the photo of the Gold Rear Sets). We also make a matching Shift Arm made of Black, Silver or Gold anodized billet aluminum (The Black one is shown in the above photo) that can be used with these Rear Sets instead of the stock shift arm, providing a wider adjustment range and a shorter throw compared to stock.

The standard Pedal Tips are also adjustable, and are made of tough, abrasion-resistant Delrin. Additional Pedal Tip styles, such as our aluminum Pedal Tips with rubber grips, are available separately.

Rear Sets kit includes a hydraulic brake light switch.

Important info about our GOLD-anodized parts

Aluminum anodizing is an electrochemical process that increases the thickness of a passive, naturally occurring, protective aluminum oxide film. Without this process, regular aluminum will corrode and become weak. Anodizing provides protection from these effects. One known drawback of anodized GOLD is its tendency to fade with prolonged exposure to UV rays. Since this does not affect the primary purpose of anodizing - corrosion protection - Color fading is not covered by the Sato Racing warranty.
