Description
Brembo master cylinders improve response and control in all conditions.
The master cylinder body is milled using CNC technology from cast aluminum alloy. A hard oxide coating is used for the surface finish.
Features:
*REBUILDABLE! This is the ONLY Brembo Master Cylinder that is rebuildable by the customer in the event it gets damaged. Order here
* Mounts to Most Current Sportbikes 7/8 bar or clip-on.
* Best performance braking upgrade you can do to your bike
* The most cost-effective upgrade that yields the largest performance benefit.
* Greatly increases stopping power along with feel and feedback levels.
* Features large diameter piston assemblies and race style adjustable levers.
* Built to extreme quality standards.
* These are the same assemblies used in world championship competition.
* The body of the master cylinder is an aluminum alloy forging, machined on CNC equipment for weight reduction.
* Hard anodization (Ultra-hard oxide) This durable film has an especially high resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
What’s the difference between the 18 and 20?
19x18 = "Feel Lever" this allows better control and modulation of the brake lever or "feel"
19x20 = "Firm Lever" this allows for a very hard initial bite, but sacrifices "feel"
What's the difference between the Folding Lever or Standard Lever?
Folding Levers are hinged which allows the lever to swing up in a crash. This helps increase the chance of survival for the Master Cylinder. A Folding Lever is not a 100% guaranteed against lever breakage in every crash. Every fall is different and no lever can be protected against breakage in every fall 100% of the time.
Note:
No Brake light switch accommodation is provided! The GP MK2 master cylinder is for racing use ONLY! We recommend the Brembo 19 RCS for street applications. The Brembo 19 RCS comes with a brake light micro switch in the kit
