Description
2007 Ducati 1098
When everyone was recovering from the look of the 749/999 Ducati released the 1098. Some say it’s what the 998 should have gone to next. Of course when they were released Motowheels was quick to build one. Like most of the bikes we build it went through a few changes over the years. We tried BST wheels then Marchesini’s and finally ended up with OZ wheels. We wanted this bike to look like a full-on race bike, but still be street capable. For lighting we went with a single HID projector mounted in a race nose. Ohlins all the way around to handle the bumps and carbon fiber body to help shed some pounds. A slipper clutch as always was added to help tame engine under aggressive riding conditions. The rest of the components work well together to help tie everything up and make a perfect Street/track/coffee shop weapon.
