Very important: It only works with Ducati "Metal" Headlight buckets that came as standard on earlier Ducati Monsters.
Perfect for updating the look of your Ducati Monster or Ducati Sport Classic, as long as you have a metal bucket installed on your model.
The beauty of this kit is that it utilizes the OEM Metal Headlight bucket leaving all your mounts & turn signals in the same place, no need to reroute or relocate.
Ring works with most 7 inch headlamps. You will use your existing stock bucket(Metal), outer ring, and the spring clips.
If your bike is equipped with a plastic headlight bucket from factory, you will then need to purchase a new or a used metal bucket for the earlier Monster series for this conversion ring to fit.

The quality of the machining is high as is the anodizing - extremely durable anodizing (I fumbled around with it quite a bit and still didn't scratch the coating). I've now successfully used this for 3 different 7" LED units: a genuine Truck-Lite branded, Eagle branded version of the same, and a JW Speaker. It looks fantastic with my JWS unit, but bear in mind with the TL or "Spada" as Motowheels calls it (Truck-Lite clone) there is a protrusion that some may find unsightly. This is the fault of the TL design, not the bracket. You will need to download the instructions from one of their bundled ring + headlight pages. Bend the clips exactly as the illustration shows, perhaps even more, and *make sure* you not only bend them the correct amount, but the same orientation as well. My suggestion is to purchase the light elsewhere, from Eagle Lites specifically.

as the other review says, get the installation pdf from corse's headlight/adapter ring kit, but the short version is bend your retaining springs about 20 degrees (in the middle, so the ends of the spring come slightly towards each other). the exact bend will depend on how convex the back of your headlight is. I put in a revival cycles secret LED unit and 20 degrees worked well. As stated, overshooting is better than undershooting. Anyways once there is pressure on the light and adapter, everything is pretty solid. Overall i am quite satisfied.
