Motowheels Project Bike: 2002  MV Agusta F4 EVO II 

We built this bike several years ago and like most of our bikes, it was built to fix any shortcomings and to enhance the bikes strengths. It went through a few changes starting with silver OEM bodywork and magnesium ORO wheels to a full carbon fiber kit with the black and blue paint it now has,. At one time it had BST carbon wheels, now having the 10 spoke Marchesini‘s.

The goal for this bike was to drop weight. We replaced just about part we could with carbon fiber and titanium. From the Fuel tank & Airbox to the rear reservoir cover, just about that could come off was removed and replaced with carbon. All hardware including the cush drives were replaced with titanium. For engine performance we installed an MV Special Parts full exhaust with a special Doug Lofgren tuning chip. To help keep things cool we replaced the OEM radiator with a huge oversized unit from Febur it Italy. With the added performance we wanted to make sure that the bike would handle and stop when we needed it to, so we went with a set of upgrade MV SPR forks and an Ohlins rear shock.. Braking is handled by a set of Brembo 4 pad radial calipers installed using the Style & Performance billet radial fork lowers. The master cylinders were replaced Brembo radial units with Motowheels folding levers. The rotors were replaced front and rear with Braketech Axis rotors up front and ABM wavy rotors in the rear. The transmission has been converted to reverse shift. No linkage us used. The frame, swingarm, frame plates and covers were powder painted. Some of the rough cast aluminum pieces were first polished to remove the factory texture and then. The triple clamp was polished an then anodized in a beautiful titanium finish.
