CM Composit Carbon Fiber Swing Arm Guard: 748-998 Race Style [Mag Swing Arm]

Protect that expensive swingarm with a Kevlar reinforced pre preg carbon fiber cover made by suppliers to DP, CM Composit. Racing style has the built in lower chain guard to keep your feet out of the chain and sprocket. It also features an upper eccentric cover.

This Racing style is for the longer magnesium swingarm.

Polished finish

The magnesium swingarm cover is designed for the race swingarm (748,916,996,998). To install this guard, you may need to trim the bottom lip on the cover and use double sided tape (not included) as there are several long magnesium swingarms on the market now.

Pre-preg Carbon Fiber parts use less resin because it is "cooked" under pressure which results in a stronger and lighter product than typical wet-lay up Carbon Fiber. Pre-preg is the preferred method for racing, and aerospace. It is more expensive to build with this method but it results in a superior product that is especially important with pieces designed to protect.
