Just got around to installing this, and it's beautiful. I wanted something for the oil cap as I quickly wear through the plastic OEM ones when lock-wiring. I think it's top quality and to me it just looks high-tech once installed...and it's just an oil cap!

Some notes:
The body is one-piece and I should have noticed that. I thought it was 2 piece where the base bolts in and then you unscrew the allen-head part once you take the C-clip off. Nope, my mistake (thought that sucker was pretty tight!)

Have lock-wire and pliers ready. If you don't, the lock assembly rattles around and I'm sure it'll mar the alloy quickly. Also nice to have C-clip pliers. If not, use your lockwire through the 2 holes, twist to compress, then pull it out. Harder to lose that clip with the wire on it too (hang it off the key?)

The clutch cover bolt to use is the one in the picture here, but use the included tab if you don't have drilled bolts. With the tab, I pointed it in toward the center of the bike and put the retainer at 12-0'clock. I believe the bolt calls for 9nm/80in-lbs and a drop of threadlocker.

A nice touch is that it's a 5mm allen/hex. Same as the oil drain and clutch cover bolts, so one tool to do oil changes and the install.

Anyway, it's a wonderful product for such a simple part.
